How to build your NETWORKING

1) Introduction

We only feel lack of relationships when we need them. We pass

years

of the organizations inside and we do not perceive the how

small is

our circle of friendships. Our cycle is restricted to the

familiar

ones and the professionals who work with us, thus exactly,

those with

which we only speak daily inherent to the work.

Few executives dominate this technique to have one networking

strong.

These few keep success all the time; never lacks invitations to

them for work, a party, at last, for a meeting any. It is

important

to be intent to all the sectors of our lives because one does

not flow

without the other, or either, nobody is so auto sufficient that

it

does not need anybody.

2) Why to have one large networking

Research discloses that approximately 65% of the vacant for

executives

are filled through indications. Moreover, given they disclose

that

75% of the positions in opened are not divulged. By means of

these

data, one gives true dimension to it of the necessity of

constructing you one networking strong.

3) How to start?

When we make a planning of our activities, beyond realize

them better, many times we not look that our capacity of

accomplishment is immense. This planning in will

give this vision accurately to its. It starts making a list of

professional / personal sectors with which you keeps some

relation,

exactly that you have times you do not keep contact. It develops

friendships with interesting and enabled people, because the

man is

consequence of the way where he lives

Example:

Professional Sectors:

professional of other companies - customers - supplying -

consulting - entrepreneurs- enterprise associations - agencies

of outplacement- headhunters

- congresses - techniques associations

Personal sectors:

Parents - relatives - friends -doctors - dentists - banks

manager

- politicians - social entities - religious entities

- cultural entities - sports associations -

- lawyers - professors - university -

classroom associations

In each one of the sectors, he makes a list of names that you

know,

And do not forgetting anybody.

But as example, we list below the medical item, of the personal

sector:

Doctors - Dr. Joćo Antonio Silva - general clinic

Dr. Jose Silva - children doctor

Dr. Antonio Silva - heart doctor

After all constructed list, you will have a relation with many

names,

more of the one than it could have imagined. This done makes 3

columns and, in the first one, it places the names of that, of

some

way, they can help it. These names will be those for whom you

will go

to start its contacts, focusing a new job. It uses these

contacts to

obtain information on vacant, on jobs that it desires to

conquer or,

still, to obtain references (you it will need them, all employer

requests them). In the second one, put the names of you have

lack contacts and the last one; the names of you don't have any

contacts.

4) Increasing your networking

Taking your list of sectors constructed as item 3, it looks for

to

increase the number of contacts with elapsing of the time. It

makes an

agenda and it starts to call for that friend who has times not

speak; it sees more associations, become you a voluntary,

participates

of the community. To each day, it adds new names to its list. If

you still it did not start, starts. More early or later, you

it will

go to need it's networking. It makes regular contact with the

people

of your list, does not leave to only call when it will need,

because besides being humbling, to another person also it can be

uncomfortable and bad. It remembers that you also he would be

bad if was only remembered in these hours. You must be always

polite

with all, remembering that it does not have obligations of the

other

part; it does not waste the time of them, etc. If you it will be

speaking of a particular telephone, is certified to have

eliminated all

the noise possible (device of sound, TV, dogs, child, etc.).

By the way, you already made its networking today? If not...

Good luck
