Does your site load well within 10-30 seconds?
You have only 30 seconds to be seen
Tip by Nam Tran Ybarra
That's true. Even worse, many visitors will
leave your site in 15 seconds or less. So you
have only ONE CHANCE to capture your
visitors interest before they click out. So,
remove all slow loading banners or pictures.
I use PaintShopPro to reduce the size of images,
but you can use a free service like Netmechanic
http://www.netmechanic.com .
Another trick is using a "TABLE" structure with a color
background to help load your site fast. To learn
about using a "TABLE" go here:
http://www.htmlgoodies.com/tutors/tbl.html
Make sure your site loads correctly with these two
major browsers: Netscape and Internet Explore.
On my desktop I always have these two browsers.
As I recommended before, the free HTML
editor AceHTML 4 Freeware at
http://www.visicommedia.com/ is a wonderful
editor and will help you check to see the way your
site look with all the browsers with ease!
Also, make sure your HEADLINE is the first
thing your visitors see. It should tell them
about your benefits by using power words and
psychological triggers. It should be irresistible!!
