YOUR BUSINESS IDEA

You might be thinking "I have no idea what kind of business I want!"

But have no fear - we're going to help you! So grab a pen and some paper and answer the following questions:

1) What are your hobbies? List 5-10.

2) What are three things you know a lot about?

3) What are 1-2 areas where you are considered an expert?

4) What background experience do you have that may serve well in a business?

5) What do you enjoy doing on your days off or in your spare time?

6) What magazines do you enjoy reading?

By taking some time and answering the above questions you should come up with a few good business ideas. Which of the business ideas would you most enjoy spending your time on? Which one is the most practical right now? Which of the businesses might you enjoy doing later?

The best business right now for you combines your interests, abilities and experience with a market need. If you would like more information, we have included a list of good books to study more below.

THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX

Even after going through the questions above many people can not nail down a solid business idea, or others may be looking for additional ideas. We have put together a page with a unique business idea that is outside the box for most people. Click on the link below for more information.

ACTION STEPS

1) Over the next week carefully answer the above questions and analyze your answers.
